Karl is a passionate and enthusiastic coach with a strong focus on youth athlete development. Karl’s philosophy is very much athlete centric, which includes an understanding of an athlete’s psychological needs as well as an alternate skill acquisition approach to learning a new skill.

NZ’s number 1 rated 3x3 basketball player, Karl is known as a phenomenal shooter and is always looking to pass on his knowledge and experience to the athletes he works with.

National 3x3 Men’s basketball team from 2014 to 2019.
Five seasons in the NZ NBL - Auckland Stars, Harbour Heat and Waikato Pistons.
Two seasons in the British Basketball League with the Worcester Wolves.

Florida Gator, Rashid has played basketball around the globe. His most recent role was as a skills and player development coach at the Breakers.

A talented guard, Rashid loves working with all athletes, sharing his knowledge and helping everyone improve.
